Yes. Persons who are to be admitted to Germany under the programme are assisted as far as possible by the German Government in leaving Afghanistan. A service provider commissioned by the German Government contacts them and coordinates the next steps in the process. Afghans who leave Afghanistan without prior consultation with the service provider cannot, as a rule, receive assistance from the service provider during transit through Pakistan.
